The children now love to use the Internet to watch videos on YouTube, connected with social networking sites, and searching for things related to 'sex' and 'porn'. These comments were made by computer security company, Symantec Corp., which has identified the top 100 search words made in early February and July, through OnlineFamily.Norton family security services, which serves to monitor Internet use by children and adolescents.According to Symantec's research, found that the search term is the most popular YouTube video sharing site owned by Google. While there are ranked ninth Internet star named Fred Figglehorn, a fictional character who is often sought in a YouTube video by the children. While Google's search engine ranking second in the popular search term, and Yahoo is ranked seventh, while the social networking site Facebook is in third position and MySpace in the fifth position.
However, what is surprising is the word 'sex' and 'porn' in the top 10 list of popular search term by children and adolescents, which is located at position four and six. Another popular word is often sought as Michael Jackson, eBay, Wikipedia, Miley Cyrus who plays Hannah Montana movie in the Disney series, Taylor Swift, Webkinz, Club Penguin, and songs from Black Eyed Peas titled "Boom Boom Pow".
List the search terms from the Symantec survey conducted 3.5 million search results in OnlineFamily.Norton, where Symantec also allow parents to see their children activities, and who to talk to their children in the IM and social networking sites they use. According to Marian Merritt, Internet safety advocate at Symantec, California, the list shows that parents should monitor what their children while online on the Internet.
